Announcing Kirk’s iTunes Forum

Come gather ’round people.
Wherever you roam.
And admit that the waters.
Around you have grown.

We’ve got iTunes Match, Apple Music, iCloud Music Library, Beats 1 Radio, and the same old problems syncing iOS devices. What better description of the many issues we deal with to listen to music on computers and portable devices? Those words, from Bob Dylan’s The Times They Are A-Changin’, seem particularly suitable today, the day after the launch of Apple Music.

The iTunes waters have grown considerably, and iTunes is an increasingly difficult app to use. But for music lovers, especially those who use iOS devices, it’s an essential tool. So I felt that there should be a place where we can all help each other understand how to use iTunes and iOS devices, and talk about our passion: music.

I’ve just launched Kirk’s iTunes Forum, a place where users can hang out and discuss iTunes, iOS devices, music, and more. It’s a place where you can ask questions about how to resolve some iTunes niggling issue, or how to create the smart playlist you want. How to work with streaming services, such as Apple Music. And what kind of digital audio hardware or headphones are best for you.

But since we’re all interested in music, I’ve also set up some forums there to discuss music, if you’re so inclined.

The forum is set up is several sections:

  • iTunes
  • iPods and iOS devices
  • Digital music
  • Audio Equipment
  • Music

So gather ’round people, and check out Kirk’s iTunes Forum. I hope this community will grow, and will be useful to all of us who listen to music using iTunes, or other digital sources, on iOS devices and any other kind of hardware.
