Apple Buys Rights to ‘Clive Davis: The Soundtrack of Our Lives’ Documentary – Mac Rumors

Apple purchased the rights to the documentary “Clive Davis: The Soundtrack of Our Lives,” reports Billboard. The documentary will premiere tonight at the Tribeca Film Festival at the Radio City Music Hall in New York.

It’s hard to see anything here other than “aging music producer working with gazillionaire company buys the rights to a documentary about another aging music producer.” While this is interesting to people in the music business, I don’t see how Apple’s music demographic could even give half a crap about a documentary like this.

Unless Jimmy Iovine clicked the Buy button by accident…
