  3. Kirk,

This is unbelievable. Ever since 12.3.1 came out my 1.5TB iTunes library had been unusable. I had some problems before 12.3.1, so I had rebuilt the Library and that worked, except I lost a portion of my artwork. After 12.3.1, iTunes was taking 4 minutes for iDevices to attach via WiFi. Making any change to a track or a playlist would take 3 minutes of beach balling at a minimum, sometimes 6 or 7 minutes. Importing a CD resulted in iTunes putting the CD into spin-down between tracks while the track was written to the Library. I had done everything everyone had suggested to get speed back – eliminate smart playlists and I was spending each evening combining playlists to reduce their number. I experimented with turning off the XML file. I could not play tracks through my Airport Express with home sharing to my stereo.

NOW, with OS X 10.11.2, but only after installing iTunes 12.3.2, all problems are gone! Wow. Was 12.3.1 ever a screwup. I lost a lot of my life to 12.3.1 and I will be VERY careful updating in the future.

I’ll wager you’ll hear more from other people shortly about 12.3.2…
