Favorites or Favourites: Apple Music’s Spelling Inconsistency

In Apple Music’s For You section, there is a My Favorites mix; or a My Favourites mix. Actually, there’s both. The icon for the playlist uses the US spelling, and the name uses the UK spelling. (Yes I’m in the UK, but I’m seeing this with a US account; people in the US reported this as well.)

Is this just an oversight? Or is it similar to having Jony Ive say “aluminium” in Apple’s product manufacturing videos?

  1. These details won’t hurt users, but this may show how obsessed apple chasing after details and building perfect products.

    I think, apple now is the best company in the world which markets their products well, not the company which also builds their products well.
