Help Support Kirkville

On Kirkville, I’ve strived to provide interesting and useful content, whether it’s about iTunes or the Grateful Dead, classical music or theater, Apple products, books, photography, and more.

As earning money from journalism becomes increasingly difficult, freelancers like myself need to explore new avenues of funding, without annoying readers with ads. I have long eschewed intrusive advertising, relying on some Amazon ads, and the occasional sponsorship.

I’m asking you to put your hands in your virtual pockets and contribute a small monthly sum to support Kirkville, and ensure that I can keep providing interesting articles, reviews, and other interesting content.

If you prefer to make a one-off donation, you can use this PayPal link. (The PayPal account is under my business’s name, Eyes of the World Limited.)

Thanks in advance to all my loyal readers.

  1. Kirk:

I don’t like the monthly system. Is there any way to make a single (larger) contribution? Patreon wants a continuing donation.

  3. II ran into what seems like a weird bug on Patreon. I tried to enter a pledge of $1.13. (I like my pledges to be prime numbers and I’ve already used $1.07 and $1.09.) I entered $1.13 and the confirmation page said I’d be charged $1.12 per month. I tried a few times and got the same result every time. Then I entered $1.14 to see what would happen and it said I’d be charged $1.13 per month.

    • That is weird. I don’t know what to suggest. If it’s a problem, email Patreon. Maybe because of the fees they charge, they prefer even numbers, because they divide evenly?
