Apple Music isn’t for everybody. As such, you may want to hide it in iTunes, and on your iOS devices. Here’s how.
In iTunes, choose iTunes > Preferences, and click the General icon. Uncheck Show Apple Music.
On iOS devices, go to the Settings app, choose Music, and then toggle Show Apple Music:
On iTunes, you can then go to the Parental icon and uncheck “Apple Music Connect” to hide the “Connect” button in the Music bar.
I have yet to find how to remove “Radio”.

I manually updated iTunes this morning after seeing all your new post emails (I did not receive the notice of a new version) and only saw the Apple Music category inside the Preferences/General tab. Is it supposed to show up on the iTunes home screen? In any case I hid it. Thanks for all the tips, Kirk, and you are going to be very, very busy for quite a while with all this. (I can’t figure out if Apple likes you or considers you a thorn in their side, but you’re definitely doing work their support should do but does not!)

What Peg C. said. Thank you, wholeheartedly, for your posts on Apple Music. And for your work in general, of course!
Cheers,
Rick

It appears you can still use the Connect feature without Apple Music.
