You should see how old my Apple printer is 🙂

My wife still uses an 23″ Apple Cinema Display purchased in 2000 (for mucho $$$$). Is there something wrong with us, Doctor?
PS: OK, its USB plugs are dead, but it still displays! And without a single dead pixel.
PPS: It’s so old it needs an ADC-to-DVI connector. Which also still works.
PPPS: To be fair, it’s not a computer, just a display.

My Santa Rosa 17-inch MBP (2007) is still going strong! Is it sad because I can still swap HDs and use DVDs, therefore I don’t have disposable hardware like the newer laptops?

Stihl use a Mac Pro 2008 (Early!) as my server that runs my entire business! Granted, it has 32GB of ram and still runs the latest version of OS X Server brilliantly, but the thing is 8 years old! How sad!

2007 Celeron E3400 here. 6Gb RAM and 64-bit Linux Mint 17.3. Drives beautifully.

Sad for Apple’s already bloated bank account! I have several Mac computers, including two 27″ iMacs, one of them the original at that size. I guess that makes me a sad person.
Nope. I work as an IT consultant (not a techy machine builder) and I am not hardware happy. Macs are superbly work friendly and that’s the appeal. Leisure friendly too. I can;t afford one so I use PC’s minus Microsoft.

OK you add value to your life with the old stuff, maybe add some shareholder value with the saved money and buy Apple stock (dividends?).
